Phases of system implementation and citizen help points for card collection and resolving questions.
System implementation phases
The container areas will be set up in phases before the delivery of cards and app codes:
Organic waste installation
Installation of the electronically locked organic waste bins (brown) throughout the municipality.
Redistribution
Redistribution of packaging (yellow), paper/cardboard (blue) and glass (green) bins in all areas.
Residual waste installation
Installation of the electronically locked residual waste bins (grey) in all disposal areas.
This will be carried out sufficiently in advance to allow residents to be properly informed, obtain access and use the system with peace of mind.
Once the cards and app codes had been distributed and prior notice had been given, the electronic locking system for the organic waste bins was activated on 22 June. Locking the residual waste bins is planned for future phases. For now, they will remain open.
Important:
The implementation will be accompanied by an environmental education and support campaign throughout the entire process, as well as a post-implementation and monitoring phase.
Material delivery phase
Phase for the delivery of cards and activation codes, carried out from 18 May to 20 June. Prior phase to activation of the organic waste bins.
To avoid overcrowding at the information points, each user was assigned a week during the delivery phase, as indicated by the identifying colour in the letter sent to them, to collect the materials during the established opening hours.
MAKE-UP WEEK
Follow-up phase
Once the cards have been distributed, the Benissa town information point will remain operational during the follow-up phase, where you can go to resolve any question or incident.

What if I could not attend at the assigned time, what can I do?
If you were unable to collect the material during your assigned week, you can collect it at the information point located at the Benissa Impuls offices (Costera Pobil 10), on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 15:00.
